1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device, and we use a few similar technologies (such as browser local storage) in the same way. They let the site remember things like whether you are signed in or what cookie choices you have made.

2. Cookie categories we use

We group cookies into four categories. Only essential cookies are active by default; the other three load only with your consent.

• Essential (strictly necessary)

  What it does

  Required to run the site: keeping you signed in, security and fraud protection, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. It also remembers the language you are browsing in, for this browser session only. If you start signing up from a page such as pricing, a first-party cookie named healogy_return_to remembers that page so we can take you back to it after you confirm your email. It holds only the page address and the time it was set. It is ignored after 2 hours, removed once it has taken you back, and otherwise ends when you close your browser. On our payment pages, our payment provider Stripe sets two cookies, __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid, which help detect payment fraud. They are needed to take a payment, and Stripe sets and ends them under its own cookie policy. The site cannot work without these, so they cannot be switched off.

  Session cookies expire when you close your browser; your saved cookie-consent choice is kept for up to 12 months.

• Analytics

  What it does

  Helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We use PostHog for product analytics. Analytics events in your browser fire only if you consent to this category. With your consent we also keep the campaign tags of the link you arrived from (such as utm_source) in a first-party cookie named healogy_attr for up to 6 months. To count sign-ups and payments, our servers tell PostHog, under your account number, when an account is created and when a payment or refund is made (a payment never carries campaign tags); we do this on the basis of our legitimate interests, it does not depend on your cookie choice, and our Privacy Policy describes it. Hosting and delivery (Vercel) also produce standard server request logs as part of operating the site.

3. How you control cookies

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Customize your choices category by category. If you reject all, only essential cookies remain active. No analytics, personalization, or marketing technology loads until you consent.

You can change your choices at any time by selecting Cookie Settings in the site footer, which reopens the same preference centre. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named healogy_consent for up to 12 months; if we materially change how we use cookies, we ask you again. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Do Not Sell or Share (California). We do not sell your personal data. The cookie preference centre (Cookie Settings in the footer) also serves as the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control.
